Mami

I call her mami although she's not my mother; she has always been there for me since the beginning. Now, the adventures we used to have have been reduced to long talks on the couch. Being home means being with her. I've found unconditional love.

Eternal Sunrise

We found joy in the little things

Fragments of peace amongst the chaos

Our frozen moment won’t last long

But in the meanwhile

We’ll stand here and burn

Burn with the eternal sunrise

Apart But Together

As time goes by, the further apart we stand.

As time goes by, the more distance there is.

But as time goes by, the more I long for your hug.

As time goes by, the more heartwarming reunions will be.

So when I see you again, I’ll never let go.

I swear this time I’ll hold you even more.

“Dicen que la distancia es el olvido pero yo no concibo esa razón porque yo seguiré siendo el cautivo de los caprichos de tu corazón”.

La distancia se ha convertido en algo más que un espacio físico. Se ha convertido en un sentimiento de añoranza por los momentos juntos. Un sentimiento que desaparece, por unos momentos, con cada foto que mandamos. Un intento de imaginarnos juntos. Un intento por reducir los 730 km que nos separan. Pero la distancia no es olvido, no para nosotros.

“They say distance is oblivion but I can’t conceive that reason because I will continue to be the captive of the whims of your heart.”

Distance has become more than just physical space. It has become a feeling of longing for the moments together. A feeling that disappears, for a few moments, with each photo we send. An attempt to picture ourselves together. An attempt to reduce the 730 km that separate us. But distance is not oblivion, not for us.

Friendship

We might not see or talk to each other as often as we did but I know I can always count on him. It took 1 minute for me to see him and remain happy the rest of the day.
